Hey friends it seems that you are finding a way to root your android phone...But first of all you should know what rooting is right????
Basically rooting a android phone is a procedure in which you enables all your android phone's potential. With your unrooted device you cant use some application like Titanium backup,Rom manager etc and also you cant make changes to your default apps.With rooted device you can also change your default Rom (rom is your basically your os).But a coin has a two side when you root your phone it avoids your manufacture warranty so if you think you are ready for rooting than follow the steps given below(this procedure dont require pc)...

2. Paste it to your external sd-card.3. Then switch off your phone.
4. Now start it by pressing menu key and power on key.
5. You will boot into a recovery mod.
6. From there select update using zipfile.
7. Now select the file which you have downloaded and let the process complete.
8. Then restart your phone normally you will see that you have a superuser app on your menu.
9. So congo your phone is rooted :)
